Content Editor



  • Writes daily updates and compelling contents on social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and all other social media sites with the goal of engaging prospective customers, and nurture clients-relations.
  • Sets the overall tone of our and our clients’ websites.
  • Writes web contents based on client-supplied materials.
  • Rewrites and edits owned print documents for publication online.
  • Edits web pages and intranet contents for on-screen readability.
  • Researches relevant topics and decides which information to include or exclude from the contents.
  • Uses various tools in writing and publishing contents such as WordPress, Google Webmasters Tools, etc.
  • Looks after the company blog and blogs on an ongoing basis to support and promote internal viewpoints
  • Utilizes mass communications methods and platforms to reach prospective customers, including email and social media
  • Leads internal communication efforts and supports delivery of organizational goals and business priorities
  • Works in multiple processes or on multiple projects at a time
  • Works as part of a team, completing varied work assignments and collaborating with others as required (including management of the website/SEO strategy & creative work).
  • Participates in team and cross-functional initiatives to improve the company’s products, processes and projects.
  • Reports to the Marketing Manager.


Job Requirements:


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Media, Journalism, Mass Communications, Marketing, Political Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Work experience with IT vendor / SaaS solutions is a great advantage.
  • With exposure in Ecommerce industry.
  • Ability to conceive and plan a broad range of creative and advertising contents for specific target audiences.
  • Has a background with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Superior written and oral communication, persuasion and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker.
  • Must have a track record in online publications, i.e. blogging, social media advertising.
  • Highly motivated and creative.
  • Proficient in using English as the medium of communication.
  • Must be willing to start immediately.
  • Preferably on a supervisory level – minimum of 3- year experience, specializing in journalism, editing or its equivalent.
